Nestled in the basement of a 1905 four square farm house duplex, this guest house provides a cozy work day for you and/or a few colleagues. Full of handmade art, vintage treasures and modern conveniences, it’s the perfect space to work while being inspired! Show a presentation on the TV or work together at the vintage dining table. With an open concept great room, large kitchenette with full size refrigerator, full size dishwasher, two burner induction cooktop and hot plate plus a Breville countertop oven. The common area backyard ‘beer garden’ is a wonderful place to hang out, with a fire pit, grill, dining table and multiple seating areas for a midday break or outdoor collaboration session should the weather permit. This is a shared space, the tenants next door often use the space during the summer. Host has an art studio in the back yard and will often walk through. Expectations are that this space is shared. Expect normal sounds overhead of community living in a turn of the century house, including walking on creaking old floors and stairs above and voices. Small fans are provided for white noise.
