Our space is a bright and cheerful, newly-remodeled basement apartment. With a separate entrance, 8' ceilings, hardwood floors, a gas fireplace, a nicely-appointed kitchenette and a sparkling bathroom. It is the perfect place to come and work quietly at the small table, or with colleagues for a meeting or presentation on the large TV. The space is located on a quiet, leafy street a short walk from a lot of great restaurants - within minutes of three of the East Side's most popular, restaurant-rich commercial strips: Hawthorne, Belmont and Division.

We have a heat pump that heats and cools the house year-round. There's also a gas fireplace for the apartment, in case it gets cool in the winter.

The entrance to the apartment is at the top of the driveway, behind the gate. The lockbox is next to the door.

Extra rules:
- Please take your shoes off while inside
- Smoking and pets are strictly prohibited. We don't smoke, and we have family members with severe pet allergies. Sorry.
- The apartment has a small kitchenette to prepare hot beverages, breakfasts and lunches. We try to keep it stocked with coffee and tea. There's also a microwave and a small fridge but there's no oven, stove, or fume hood, so the apartment really isn't set up to do any serious cooking.

My wife and I both work at home. She's upstairs and I'm on the main floor. You'll never hear her, but I'm being too noisy, please let send me a text and let me know. Also, we eat lunch from noon to 1pm most days, so we'll be in the kitchen so you may hear us during that time. Again: if we're being too noisy in the kitchen, don't hesitate to text or knock and let me know.
